LG Optimus Black announced in CES 2011

 

Today in CES LG unveiled its next flagship – the Android 2.2 Froyo-powered Optimus Black. It utilizes the LG’s latest innovation – the 4-inch NOVA display – which is supposed to be the world’s brightest screen.

 

It’s features:

  • 4-inch NOVA display (50% less energy than the regular LCDs indoors and the AMOLEDs at full white)
  • 9.2mm of thickness and 106 grams of weight
  • Android 2.2 Froyo (Upgradable to 2.3 Gingerbread), LG Optimus UI 2.0
  • 2 megapixel front-facing camera and 5 or 8 megapixel rear with HD video recording
  • Wi-Fi direct (connect devices through Wi-Fi connections without the need of a Wi-Fi hotspot)

 

 

The device will be released during the first half of 2011.

LG P990 Star Leak again

The Tegra 2-powered LG Star has reappeared in a new spy photo shoot. The device runs Android 2.2 Froyo instead of the expected 2.3 Gingerbread but still managed to outperform the Nexus One.

LG Star features a large 4 inch touchscreen display with 800×480 resolution and the powerful NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. It also features an 8 megapixel camera with LED Flash, full HD (1080p) video recording, front-facing camera, HDMI out port, MicroSD card slot and 15000mAh battery.

LG’s Star Android Superphone with dual-core Tegra 2 and 1080p video

LG promised a dual-core smartphone with Tegra 2 – and a new leak shows that such a phone is closer to that.

Here its some specifications:

  • 8MP camera that will be able to record video in Full HD (1080p) resolution
  • Dual-core Cortex A9 CPU and NVIDIA Tegra 2 GPU
  • Android OS (it’s not clear which version it’ll be)
  • Video call camera, microSD card slot, microUSB port & 1500mAh battery
  • 4″ Touchscreen

The LG Star (a codename that will change by launch time) will be the flagship model of LG’s Android lineup.

It will be release it early in 2011.
